Location: Memphis, TN
Project Duration: 3-6 months +/-
Employment Type: Contract (Full Time)

On Grid Infrastructure Services is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Memphis, TN. This role supports plant maintenance and operations by controlling industrial MRO spare parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring critical materials are available when needed. This is not a general distribution-center or parcel-fulfillment warehouse position.

What You’ll Do
·       Receive, identify, inspect, label, and store industrial MRO materials and maintenance spare parts, including pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, and related mechanical components.
·       Use SAP or a comparable inventory/CMMS system to accurately process receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
·       Organize warehouse locations, conduct inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
·       Issue and stage materials for maintenance work orders, planned outages, turnarounds, and plant projects.
·       Monitor shortages and replenishment needs; prepare purchase requisitions or purchase orders and follow up with Procurement and vendors.
·       Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Procurement to help prevent material-related work delays.
·       Maintain safe material storage, housekeeping, and documentation; follow facility safety procedures, including hazardous-material handling requirements.

Required Qualifications
·       High school diploma or GED; must reside within 45 miles of Memphis, TN.
·       At least 3 years of industrial warehouse, MRO storeroom, inventory control, or materials management experience in a chemical plant, manufacturing facility, refinery, power plant, or comparable industrial complex.
·       Demonstrated familiarity with industrial mechanical spare parts such as mechanical seals, pumps, bearings, gaskets, valves, and related maintenance components; able to identify and handle these materials accurately.
·       Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar inventory management/CMMS system, plus accurate recordkeeping and coordination with plant maintenance personnel.

Preferred Qualifications
·       Chemical plant or industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred; comparable experience in other industrial complexes considered.
·       Experience with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory replenishment.
·       Experience supporting maintenance shutdowns, turnarounds, or industrial project material staging.
·       Forklift certification
·       Associate degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.

Who Will Succeed in This Role
The strongest candidates have worked in an industrial maintenance storeroom or MRO warehouse and can recognize common plant spare parts. Parcel shipping, retail fulfillment, and distribution-center experience alone do not meet the industrial materials requirement.
